The Active heat™ system incorporated within the Dream Slimline Convector produces radiant heat from the coal effect fuel bed but also draw in cold air from the room, pass it through a heat exchanger to warm it up and then circulate it back around the room. The result is that the room is heated much faster than by radiant heat alone.

Despite it's reduced inset depth which makes it ideally suited to Class 2 flues, it has a maximum heat output of 3.3kW and a net efficiency rating of 61%. The open-fronted flames will bring any room to life replicating the charm and ambience of a real fire but with the controllability of gas.
